e-Visa Info

An e-Visa is an entry permit intended for citizens of eligible countries.

An e-Visa is issued to individuals whose nationality requires a visa to enter Kenya for tourism, travel, medical, business or professional purposes. An e-Visa is an authorization document, issued in PDF format, that allows you to travel to one of Kenya's entry points.

A visa is required prior to entry into The Republic of Kenya. As from 01st Jan 2021 Visas on arrival are no longer available and travellers to Kenya are advised to apply for an eVisa in advance of arriving to Kenya.

The e-Visa must be presented to an immigration officer at any point of entry, who grants entry into the Republic of Kenya by issuing a visitor's pass and endorsing it in the holder's passport.

Types of e-Visa

Single Entry Visa  is valid for travel with 3 months from the date of issue. The stay cannot be longer than 90 days. Normally, visitors are allowed to stay in Kenya for up to three months. However, the border services officer at the Kenyan port of entry will authorize the period of time the visitor can stay in Kenya. The officer will stamp or write on a visitor's passport the length of time.
Multiple entry visa is valid for 3 to 12 months from the date of issue. Allows the visitor to travel to Kenya multiple times with one-time stay of up to 90 days throughout the e-Visa validity period.

Information on the visa obtaining procedure - application processing time, possible further processing, suspending the application and delivery option.
Application processing time: Once the application is submitted with the complete information, it will be processed within the shortest possible time. The unit processing time depends on the individual application and many other factors. The assurance of process service is four working days. It means that e-Visa application is usually processed within four working days after receiving the completed application and full e-Visa fee. Most of the application is processed within two working days. Note: extended processing time may occur in certain circumstances. In some cases, Russian Immigration Department may require additional information and documents to upload. If necessary, our consultant will contact you via email. You will be advised by email if your application requires additional processing. In that case, you may be asked to attach other supplementary documents. In difficult cases processing may even last for 14-30 days. Suspending the application: When the departure date provided by the customer in the form is too far to fit within the visa validity period (ability of using the visa to enter the country), we reserve the right to suspend the visa application processing until the first possible available date of issue, so that the visa is valid when entering the country. This procedure applies only to extremely distant departure dates (approximately 30 days and above from the date of submission of the application) and aims to protect the applicant against a situation in which the visa's validity may expire on the date close to entering the country. Delivery option: a visa application result is sent directly to your designated email address given in your application form. When application is approved – Approval Letter, when application is refused – Refusal note is sent via email. The service is considered fully completed when the result of the visa application is issued by the competent authority. The visa result is sent to the client electronically as soon as possible after the result is issued.
